Tau Sigma Phi (ΤΣΦ) is one of the biggest and largest women's Fraternity in Canada, with over 200 members nationwide. It has 4 collegiate chapters in Canada. The organization was founded in Ottawa, Ontario. Tau Sigma Phi pride ourselves on the values of sisterhood, loyalty and integrity. Along with offering young women unbreakable bonds created through our sisterhood, Tau Sigma Phi presents its members with countless of other opportunities to excel academically, philanthropically and socially. creates an environment for its women to establish long lasting friendships. ==History== Tau Sigma Phi was founded in September 2007, in Ottawa, Ontario, at Carleton University. The group was founded by Natasha Hjort, Halley Van Muyen, Kristin Dafoe, Sarah Jones and Sara Korajian. The five founding mothers were all united on one solid front, unified by their equally shared definition of sisterhood. This theme became the foundation upon which Tau Sigma Phi was established. The pin of Tau Sigma Phi includes a warm pink flower and 5 pink sapphires to signify each of the founding mothers, and may be worn only by initiated members. The early growth of Tau Sigma Phi was confined to women attending Carleton University in Ottawa. Within a few years,Tau Sigma Phi began initiating students from all over Ottawa and had established itself at 3 different collegiate institutions.
